TK Metakon LLC Production Company was founded in 2001. It is a part of the ASPMK-519 companies group. Today, TK Metakon LLC is a large manufacturer of specialized metal structures, building structures and materials used to cover electric network construction needs, including production of the following:

Anchor and angle tension towers, intermediate support poles, anchor support towers for 0.35-500kW electric power grids; 
Antenna mast structures used for installation of mobile communication channels;  
Searchlight masts attached to reinforced concrete support poles;
Searchlight masts attached to metal structures;
Antenna support poles;
Bus-structured and inline towers;
Metal components made from ferrous and non-ferrous metals used for power transmitting lines.

Anti-corrosive coating is accomplished in vertical furnaces based on hot dip galvanization technology to protect metal structures and parts.

Manufacturing capacity of the company is 20,000 tons of metal structures per year. Total personnel number is 395 employees. Manufacturing facilities of the company comprise an area of 9.62 hectares.

 

New state of the art equipment, the semi-automatic welding device PDG-508 with a welding rectifier VDU-506 for CO2 environment, had been used since 2002 to improve the quality of welded seams. In 2004 the company started to use Japanese IK 12 MAX 3 and HANDY AUTO devices for semi-automatic and automatic metal cutting. In 2007 new Italian «FICEP» A 164 T and P 51 lines were installed to cut rolled metal sheets and corners. This equipment is used by the largest manufacturers of metal structures in the world. To work with these new lines, the company sent operators to be trained in Italy. Upgrading of the company's manufacturing facilities allowed the company to increase the amount and quality of yearly output and also to eliminate the human factor in the production process.

Currently the company is involved in the production of new types of towers:

Multi-sided street light poles;
Multi-sided lighting poles;
High mast poles;
Multi-sided mobile communication poles and radio masts;
Multi-sided power transmission towers.

In 2003 the company developed and implemented the ISO 9001-2001 Quality Management System. In 2006 the company was certified and recognized to be in compliance with the ST RK ISO 9001-2001 Quality Management System Standards. In 2010 the company confirmed its compliance with the current ST RK ISO 9001-2009 Quality Management System Standards. The same year, TK Metakon LLC developed, implemented and certified the Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to the ST RK OHSAS 18001-2008 Standards..
