InterInvestIzolyator NGO LLC Production Company was founded in 2003. It is a part of the ASPMK-519 companies group. InterInvestIzolyator NGO LLC specializes in the production of polymer insulators.

InterInvestIzolyator NGO LLC was the first company in Russia that mastered the technology which made it possible to manufacture an insulating part of insulators by using an injection shot of a modern casting machine with an automatic production control system. The joint work of a design documentation developer ("Special insulators and re-bars designing and engineering agency" JSC), equipment manufacturer and insulators producer resulted in creating an optimal structure of a molding die that can be adjusted based on the requirements for protective sheath length on each of two cores when starting to inject the solution at 80-120 cm and finishing it gradually at 500 cm. The equipment is capable of producing two 110 kW insulators or one 220 kW insulator per one cycle (which lasts about 5 minutes). The production process is developed using a rubber mixture, which is vulcanized at high-speed, and materials for adhesive undercoating and sealing manufactured by Dow Corning (USA). These latest technologies allow the company to shorten vulcanization time (3-4 minutes when a cable core is held in the molding die) and decrease vulcanization temperature to 120ºC which provides the ideal environment for the cable core.

The production process of polymer insulators with a solid cast protective sheath by using an injection shot gives an opportunity to lower the production cost due to production and quality increase which results from a new production method of creating a "fiber glass rod - organic-silicon mixture" composition in a molding die under high temperature and pressure. This method helps avoid adhesion issues, lower the human factor, increase quality of used materials and step-by-step quality control level.

The company's Quality Control System is a certified BVQI system used in the polymer insulator production industry based on the ISOISO 9001:2000 Standards. All products have passed voluntary certification in the Russian GOST Certification System.

In 2004, the Inter Departmental Commission of the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System of Russia approved and recommended for use the following insulators: LK 70...120/110-Ts-3, LK 70...160/220-Ts-3 (Acceptance Certificate dated April 15, 2004).

In 2005 the Inter Departmental Commission signed for use the following insulators: LK 70...160/150-Ts-3, LK 70...160/330-Ts-3 and LK 70...160/500-Ts-3, where "Ts" means "solid cast", "3" stands for pollution degree (PD) according to the GOST 9930 (Electrical Installation Code, 7th Edition, Chapter 1.9), which matches Pollution Degree V (Atmospheric Pollution Degree) according to the GOST 28856.

Over the years of its work, InterInvestIzolyator NGO LLC has completed the very important task of increasing the quality of polymer insulators. Now, insulators manufactured by the company are designed and produced to meet the requirements of power grids used in the CIS countries. To comply with these requirements, the company completed all necessary tests including resource testing which confirms that the service life of insulators is not less than 30 years. Their quality and performance are confirmed by the Russian companies using them. As well, the fact that they were recommended for use by the Inter Departmental Commission of the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System of Russia speaks for itself.

In 2006 InterInvestIzolyator NGO LLC bought an additional casting machine with an automatic production control system. The result in the output of polymer insulators has increased twice and has also helped to create a greater variety of products. Today production capacity equals over 100,000 110kW insulators, 50,000 220kW insulators, 24,000 500kW insulators per year.
